Snipt – Clip & Sync: Privacy Policy

Snipt does not collect any personal data. We do not operate any servers, and no information is transmitted to us or any third party.

All clipboard data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit/SwiftData) under your own Apple ID. We have zero access to your iCloud data. iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your iCloud terms of service.

Snipt syncs your clipboard between your devices through iCloud Sync, your clipboard history syncs across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account. This data is managed entirely by Apple. No data passes through any third-party server.

Snipt uses zero third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or tracking services. All functionality is built exclusively on Apple technologies. Your data never touches a third-party server.

Your data is stored in two places, on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate any servers or databases. Here is how your data is handled:

• On your device: Data is stored locally and retained per your Snipt settings. You can delete individual items or all history at any time.
• In iCloud: Data is retained per your iCloud settings and Apple's policies.
• On our servers: We do not operate any servers. No data is stored by us.

iCloud data is protected by Apple's built-in encryption. Since we do not collect or store any data, there is no data on our end to be compromised.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 4/18/2026 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the App or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
